Gias the Fish Watcher

The wifey and I have a nice sized 40 gallon fish tank in our dinning room. We don’t have any elaborate or expensive fish in it. We have a algae eater named Moawa, a rope fish named Nagini, and several rosies. The rosies were purchased as small feeder fish for like 25 cents each. Over the years there have been rosies that have come and gone…but there are some that have stayed. The ones that end up staying we have named. Currently we have One-Eyed Willy, because he only has one eye and we love Goonies. Her is not that old as of yet, but then there his big brother that likes to dance all over the tank. We named him Kevin Bacon for obvious reason. Then comes the elder of the tank… Bruce. Bruce was a orange rosie that we purchased a little over 5 years ago. When we first brought him home he was no more than 3/4 of a inch long and bright orange in color. Over the years he has changed color to his now brilliant shimmering white. He has grown from that little 3/4 inch tank newb to a glorious over 5inch long beefy boy! We have a bubble volcano in the tank that he loves to occasionally put his face down. We can’t help but laugh at him and remember Finding Nemo, “BUBBLES!”. Each evening two of our furbaby boys, Gias and Mazy, like to take turns sitting by the tank and watching the fish swim for the longest times. Mazy will occasionally slowly swat at the air around the tank like he is trying to pet the fish. Then there is Gias. Gias will usually just sit there and watch and study them and occasionally sometimes go to speak to them… then on odd days he will start to lick the tank glass. He is such a odd little boy. LOL! Sometimes it is entertaining to just sit here at the dinning room table and watch the boys watch the fish.
